This short film offers a glimpse into the making of Ruisseau—from Italian-imported leather being carefully embossed, to our luxurious felt being hand screen-printed in Brooklyn by a third-generation, family-run studio. The video captures the artistry and craft behind each tile, showcasing the hands, tools and techniques that bring the collection to life. It stands as our most ambitious material release to date, merging precision with emotion across every detail.
We’re excited to unveil Ruisseau, Jill Malek’s first ever collection of embossed leather and screen-printed felt wall tiles. Inspired by flowing streams and organic movement, Ruisseau introduces a new dimension of texture, elegance and acoustic functionality to interior surfaces.
Available in six styles: two embossed Italian leathers and four hand screen-printed felts, the 17" x 17" tiles offer modular flexibility and rich, natural colorways in soft blues, creams and amber tones. This is also our first foray into both leather and screen-printed felt, crafted for elevated residential and commercial interiors alike.
Inspired by fluid brooks and streams in the natural world, these tiles showcase delicate lines embossed and printed within their surface, exuding a sense of subtle movement and rhythm. All tiles have a personalized human touch—from the drawn line motifs on the embossed leather imported from Italy to the soft felt, screen-printed by hand in Brooklyn, NY.
