A Hand-Sewn Landscape for the Conference Rooms at SoMA
At SoMA, CetraRuddy uses TERRAINS | DIMENSIONAL FELT to wrap the conference rooms in a shifting field of fine lines and hand-sewn felt accents. Warm orange bands move across the space, softening the crisp architecture and creating a more tactile, people-centered atmosphere within the former 25 Water Street, now the largest office-to-residential conversion in the U.S. to date. For this Pawling, NY residence, Ana Claudia Design uses REEF | MULBERRY to turn the wall behind the bed into a layered field of movement. Flowing contours in plum, mauve and soft gray add depth without competing with the dark ceiling and clean-lined cabinetry, giving the bedroom a quieter sense of enclosure.
In the foyer of this New Jersey home, Revamp Interior Design uses ALPENGLOW | EARTH to wrap the walls in broad, tonal bands of blush, sand and muted gray. As daylight moves through the space, the mural’s angled planes shift subtly against the black console and sculptural objects, bringing warmth and depth to the entry.
